In 2007 Lisode together with Cemagref Montpellier created a community of practice on participatory processes. It is the here where practitioners (researchers, policymakers and consultants) can test the participatory methodologies before applying them in real life situations. The interactive sessions of the community of practice (simulations, role-playing games etc.) allow to:
- Design and/or test innovative participatory methods;
- Strengthen the competences of group facilitators;
- Have informal exchanges among practitioners and thus build knowledge and social networks
