Public participation training |
|
This training course introduces the principles and methods to design and put into place participatory decision making processes. The course explains the history of participation in Europe, various regulatory aspects, approaches such as citizen juries and consensus conferences, methods such as 21st century town meetings, open space, or role playing games, as well as the question of how to design and evaluate participation processes. Even though many of the case studies are taken from the public sector such as from urban planning and water management, the course is relevant for all those that need contributions from multiple groups of stakeholders for decision making or learning.
